Co-founded by the wife-and-husband team, Helen and Gary Miamii, Moshi Moshi is a web app where you can browse for and place pay-per-min audio calls with 18+ content creators.

Moshi Moshi keeps your entire pay-per-min audio call experience all-in-one app directly in your browser. Every audio call in Moshi Moshi is made using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). This technology allowed us to design a global phone system where you can place a call and talk in your browser with no phone number. Every audio call also has a built in per minute rate tracker that's connected to our payment system. This lets us manage transactions for charges incurred on each call.

Our name carries a meaningful story. Moshi Moshi was thought of due to our ancestral ties to Japan, where it is a common phone greeting. What really sealed the deal was the sentimental value it holds for Helen. During a family vacation, 13-year-old Helen and her family were staying in a roadside motel when they were abruptly awakened by a party happening in the room below. Helen's dad decided to call that room and politely ask them to 'turn the volume down'—typical dad move. After a few ring tones, a joyously inebriated man, clearly in the midst of a rager, answered the phone with 'Moshi Moshi'. Ever since that night, Moshi Moshi has come to symbolize a good time.
